The 12.6-mile course begins at the Cog Railway Station (6,570 feet) in Manitou Springs, Colorado, ascends Pikes Peak’s historic Barr Trail to Barr Camp (10,200 feet) before turning, descending and finishing at the Barr Trailhead.
The 6-day event featured flowy single track, technical root-covered descents, rock slab riding and everything in between. We passed through Kelowna, Penticton, Rossland and Nelson, spending three to six hours each day pedaling.
